As a Georgia licensed real estate broker with more than 9 years experience in the Lake Country market, I understand that your home is one of the biggest and most important investments that most of us make.  It’s the place where life happens, where your children grow up and where memories are made.  I understand its significance and enjoy working with people to help them find that perfect house and then sharing in the excitement of making that house a home.

I am a Georgia native and was originally licensed as a real estate salesperson in 1984. After a few years in the industry, I moved to the corporate world where I spent twenty plus years in corporate executive roles focused on building and leading successful medical device companies.  I returned to the real estate industry in 2012, when I joined Jo Jones & Company.  In 2018, I decided to further my credentials to become a licensed broker. In 2020, we made the important and exciting decision to join the NextHome family.  As part of the NextHome network, I have all the the needed resources to professionally assist you with any of your real estate needs.

I am a big proponent of the adage that “knowledge is power”.  In addition to preliminary and ongoing real estate education, I received my MBA from Georgia State University's exclusive executive program while working in the medical device industry.  I find that education as well as skills acquired in those corporate roles such as communications, building relationships, marketing, resourcefulness, problem solving and sheer determination have served me well when seeking just the perfect home for my buyers or working to successfully market a home for my sellers.

My husband, Don, and I have two children and six beautiful and smart grandchildren which makes for some great family gatherings.  When I’m not working with clients, I like to spend time with family and friends, listening to music and dancing, or donating my time as a Greene County Master Gardener Volunteer (in association with UGA’s Cooperative Extension Program) where I have the opportunity to share my love of gardening with the community.
